A Christ-Centered Path to Freedom

OVERVIEW

Blessed Hope is a ministry for women seeking freedom from drugs, alcohol, and other life-controlling issues.
Through faith in Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word, women in crisis are transformed into new creations — finding peace, restoration, and hope for the future.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

Blessed Hope is a Christ-centered alternative to secular recovery programs, helping women rebuild their lives through discipleship, accountability, and the renewing power of God’s Word.

Program phases

Blessed Hope is a 12-month residential program developed in 3 progressive phases, each designed to build biblical understanding, personal responsibility, and lasting transformation.

Basic Phase 1
(2 Months)

A highly structured introduction to the program.
Students complete Foundational Bible study and attend daily instructional studies and regular church services.
Work projects during this phase are focused within the Blessed Hope residence and CCBangor properties — providing a safe, stable environment free from temptation and relapse opportunities.

Basic Phase 2
(4 Months)

During this phase, residents deepen their commitment to the study of God’s Word and grow as serious students of Scripture. They participate in specialized classes, daily instructional studies, and regular church services. Work projects often extend beyond the residence and into the community, emphasizing service to others while maintaining a highly structured and disciplined environment.

Transition Phase
(6 Months)

In this final phase, residents live in the transitional home while re-entering society with continued accountability and community support.
Each woman finds employment, pays rent, attends Calvary Chapel services, and continues mentoring new residents.
She works to restore relationships, meet legal and financial obligations, and live a clean, Christ-centered life that encourages others in their journey.

Completion

Upon fulfilling all program requirements and completing their Transition Plan, each student receives a Certificate of Completion from CRD — marking their growth into maturity and service.

The Foundations of Transformation

Bible Study

Transformation begins through daily engagement with Scripture.
Women participate in Bible studies, devotionals, and regular church attendance — renewing their minds and grounding their
identity in Christ.

Do not conform to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind...”
— Romans 12:2

Manual Labor

Each woman contributes through hands-on service and daily work
projects. Labor develops discipline, humility, and teamwork —reinforcing the biblical principle that honest work honors the Lord.

“The craving of a sluggard will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work.”
— Proverbs 21:25

Discipline

A disciple is a disciplined one.
Residents learn obedience and spiritual maturity through correction, accountability, and guidance — developing the character of Christ through daily practice.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
— Colossians 3:23

Tobacco Policy

CRD is a non-smoking, tobacco-free environment.
No tobacco products, nicotine patches, or vaping devices are permitted at any time during enrollment.
